there is a tree that once stood..
a tree made of cypress, blackth+rn and yew
and the foulest of evils it spewed..
it was implanted with hatred in mind
no other flora or fauna of its kind
the circle of druids in ritual had bled
and this sapling of malice had fed..
and monthly did they pour their crimson sacrifice
watering tainted blood by nocturnal candlelight
words of vengeance and darkness, words of power
and they conjured their emotions by the hour..
the sapling began to grow on its own
and drain the very life from what it was shown
it grеw gnarled and twisted, and grotesquеly insisted
it just wanted to be left all alone…

a passionate drive to be alone and brew itself
emitting, secreting pheromones of loathing and longing
coming in close enough contact would bring upon oneself
an unspoken dread and fear ones own mortality..

and that feeling, it’s no lie
it’s best to stay away as it is nothingness defined
and within the final ritual of the druids
a circle of power was cast to keep it confined..
