but the lines get blurry when you start to see

only two years here i can tell we need reform
but the actions and reaction have been lukewarm

some people wonder if it’s even worth the fight
but there are miracle workers who push through the bullsh+t
take this t+rd of a situation and care for it, polish it
while our schools fall apart bit by bit
they won’t quit cause they can’t stand it

and the ones who can change have no idea what they’re doin
out of the classroom for years and now it’s ours that they’re scr+w+ng up
and that’s the best case scenario, not the norm
half them weren’t even teachers in some way shape or form
they just have money and selfish agendas
while we come up with solutions like “no duh
but that would make too much sense!”
i wish i had just a bit more confidence
in this system so many have dedicated lives to
and strive to make it bearable for our kids to get through

where’s the vaule for education in our backwards nation?
we want our kids to succeed but don’t give teachers the tools they need
and we’re the first to be blamed when sh+t goes south
and the last to be thanked when brilliance comes out of they mouth
and then we cry ourselves to sleep but not because we’re sad
we’re just frustrated at the opportunity we thought we had
so this is my last cry someone please hear our plea
