i accepted a challenge at the age of 43, an artistic sort of creative bet
to explore a vast museum and then share what i see
i had to see what i could make of the met
i accepted this challenge with an “i think i can” then began to wonder where i should start
then a voice inside me said “you’re just a song and dance man what do you know about art?”
and i accepted that fact
i lacked a plan or a play, i was a drift on the 5th avenue sea
and soon someone would wanna know what i had to say and i had nothing except lost little me

and then from somewhere deep within my darkest despair, a little light began to fl!cker anew
then i thought “maybe i just try to find me in there and if i can’t i know what i have to do.”

it all started with my friend, matt [?]
he’s the one who brought me into the fold, then i met erin and lemore
they said “keep it simple, let the met be the bold.”
