just a chance to reflect and my student debt
i’ll use my intellect as my architect

the reason i follow this philosophy
why consider this the most high artistry
because above all else its about honesty
that brutal honesty, alway a part of me
confined with rhyme and a decent vocabulary
each word is weapon to stock my armoury
toppling the dark parts of society
these words have meaning
your just not hearing
laugh at my craft, act like thats not demeaning
i use this for healing by revealing my feelings
the pen is my sword with which i’m slaying these demons
they’re are part of me
they’re what i want to be
they’re everything that i see
there my history
they’re my story
and eventually
then they will be my legacy
i don’t believe in god but if they’re is a soul
then it must lay in these words that we’re told
help us grow, until we grow old
and live on when our bodys turn cold
used to spread lies, and oppress the week
used to start fires, protests in the street
used to show love, our real heart beat
and if knowledge is power then words must be the key
yet this art is rejected
seen as a gimmick
when its the most connected
and has no limits
has no boundaries
transcends every media
they forget about it like they suffer from amnesia
this is my p-ssion
and its more that just rapping
painting pictures with words that established art can’t imagine
the most realest, honest, purest form expression
or the way it could be with its original intentions

i know a lot of you think that it’s useless
as an art form it’s probably the truest

i don’t even think it’s debatable
i’ve got my reasons, i want to state them all
but in one song i don’t think i’m capable
cause i’m not the greatest, might not even be great
i just want to raise the point before its too late
i’m just trying to open up a debate
cause i believe what i’m saying, i’m so p-ssionate
about this art form, about this medium
after a change not expecting it immediate
