so i made this album to celebrate how this year has been so good and refreshing to me. i know that we’re in a pandemic but for me 2020 really gave me the opportunity to change a lot in myself, because while the whole world was struggling with the pandemic, i basically had all the time i wanted to settle down, and stop for a moment, to work on myself. and that’s how i found the real me. and after that, i stopped feeling insecure and instead i embraced myself for who i am. and, you know, i’ve always thought that the fact that we are all unique for the way we are was a lie, because i used to think “maybe there’s certain people who are good enough, pretty enough… but i’m not like them, i’m not pretty enough, i’m not good enough, i will never be the person i want to be in the future” and so on. but, after finding the real me, that was the moment i knew that we all are worth it, we all are unique, we all are good enough, pretty enough, and everything else, we can be whoever we want to be, we just have to want it, you know? with this album i tried to make it reflect my life as it is today, sonically talking of course. for example feeling empty and reach the end reflect perfectly good those moments when you think that you’re feeling down, but as you heard in reach the end, when the song slows down it just comes back stronger than before, and that’s what makes me keep going everyday, because it’s okay to feel empty or simply not good sometimes, all it takes is to keep fighting and show everyone, or even just to yourself, that you can do it. and as one of my favorite songs, lady gaga’s born this way, says, you were born to survive. so please don’t give up, ever
