unfortunately i think i’ve experienced loss a little too many times and every time it just really made me go back into very dark places mentally, i guess, uh, ones that i obviously don’t want to be in but it’s just also made me realize how beautiful and precious life is and no matter how long i spend crying and, i guess, think and wish in a very twisted way that i was the one to be gone instead of the people that i love, that i loved, um, i guеss, i just tried every timе to just realize that if they’re gone and i’m still here, then i owe them something to just really be appreciative of life
over the course of my many years, i’ve lost a lot. and when i think back on that, it’s not so much that those things are gone for me, it’s how lucky i was to have them in the first place
when asked to think about loss i think about that quote that says i’m a mosaic of everyone i’ve ever loved even for a heartbeat because all the people i have loved or love now shaped me into who i am today by sharing all the facets of themselves, their vulnerabilities, their interests, introducing me to people they love. i truly believe everyone who comes into your life is there for a reason
