[intro]
mr. anonymous: thank you agent detectri. now just to take a listen (play b-tton)

[dialogue]
therapist: hi, nice to meet you. go ahead and tell me your name
sykodelik: uhh, just… i’ll go by my alias, sykodelik
therapist: ok. sykodelik. and how old are you?
sykodelik: i am twenty-seven
therapist: ok, can you just tell me when you were born?
sykodelik: uh yeah, january second, nineteen eighty-seven
therapist: right. so right now i was just trying to understand if you understand who you are. if you don’t mind go ahead and, and tell me what you’re doing here
sykodelik: um, here to i guess figure out what’s going on with my mental health as far as seeing if i’m delusional or if what i am believing in my head is true. i don’t know, i can’t real—i can’t even explain it right. i don’t know. i don’t know how to…
therapist: ok, ok that’s fine. that’s fine. we don’t—this is only your first session. you don’t need to actually you know let go of everything. so right now you think that you’re delusional?
sykodelik: uhh it’s possible. i’m either delusional or, or something really happened. i can’t figure it out
therapist: ok so you’re telling me that you’re kind of in this whole reality-versus-unreality situation?
sykodelik: correct
therapist: and how does that make you feel?
sykodelik: it just makes me feel like… uh, like something’s just wrong with me, you know? that like i don’t want to… i don’t wanna lose… touch… with reality you know. i wanna know what’s really goin’ on. i feel like i can’t… i can’t see the difference

[verse 1]
once upon a time, there was a syko
that wrote a bunch of rhymes to let his mind flow
he dwelled on the negative to drain his mind slowly
away from the hate. remembered it to let it all go
he needed to find the root of his h-ll
so he could leave it behind. he secluded himself
from the rest of the world searching for closure
to manifest in his soul searching for more worth
he took from the air of the night
alone in his room was the moment of truth
to prepare for the microphone in the booth
he either paced back and forth or circled around a table
in a hot garage with a small fan on talking to himself
for hundreds of hours, possibly for thousands
time traveling through verbal mathematics, harsh reality
murder fantasies, and quantum mechanics
in his parallel universe, these murders actually happened

[chorus]
you write verses. he writes curses
so you can die from them
the slayer’s kurse
i say you write verses. he writes curses
so you can die from them
the slayer’s kurse
everything is energy
therefore we manifest whatever we want it to be
infinity for eternity within everything and nothing
in life, death is all we breathe continuously
we, the nephilim stealing your energy
energy, energy, energy, energy, energy, energy

[dialogue]
therapist: you know, everybody kind of has that problem. we all wanna know what dreams are. do you, you know, do you wanna tell me about your dreams?
sykodelik: like, i’m afraid to say too much man. like—they could be dreams, or what if they’re confessions you know. i don’t know

[verse 2]
he didn’t wanna see a therapist
to him it was a waste of time
plus he didn’t wanna speak on evidence
futuristically speaking, so he kept it inside
projected with episodes of psychosis
repped it with pride
connected his weapon’s choice; a microphone
it’s a reputation k!ller that absorbs messages
to extrapolate as warnings towards your average conversation fillers
didn’t need your approval to be the illest
he proved it to himself by studying personal observation
literature of all kinds, and lost and found equations
he travelled all over and rocked hundreds of shows
the fans had their hands up like that’s how you f-ckin’ flow
he drank and smoked quite a bit of dro, 40’s and blunts
endless kickback sessions with the homies and the pretty hoes
t-tties shown, no condom
he should have known and stopped her
but when a b-tch looks like that f-ck it
you’re good to go

[dialogue]
sykodelik: i just try my best to keep it calm, and what makes me skeptical about what’s real and what’s not is that i keep having the same dreams. they’re—they’re flashes really. you know, like, they just randomly pop into my head
therapist: you get these dream flashes while you’re awake?
sykodelik: yeah, when i’m awake. it’s the same thing. the same situation replaying over and over again
therapist: and what is this situation? i mean i understand you’re kind of being a little hesitant on that
sykodelik: that i… that i’ve k!lled people. i mean, i really don’t know. i would like to believe that i am not capable of that, but i also believe that everyone is capable of doing anything if they get driven to that point of not being rational
therapist: ok. i think this was actually a really good first meeting. so, your homework right now is to really just maybe get some of your dreams on paper, and try to figure out what kind of a person you think you are. go ahead and set another appointment with me. it was nice meeting you, and, uh, we’ll, we’ll see you again
sykodelik: alright, thank you
mr. anonymous: (stop b-tton)
