every sat-rday morning was quite an experience when i was a kid. my dad used to crank up the country music station and play it for three, four hours at a time. it was like a chinese water torture, but i eventually learned to love it, and this is one of the songs i used to hear quite often. hank williams wrote it, but the bill monroe sort of bluegr-ss version was the one that i liked quite a bit. so we thought we’d do it for some of the old-timers and for some younger people that maybe have never seen a banjo before and might think its a synthesizer or something. i’d also like to dedicate this to louis. okay, fire it up. let’s do it fast this time.
