timenim - semper fi lyrics
[chorus]
i pledge allegiance to the flag of the united states of america. and to the republic, for which it stands. one nation under god. indivisible, with liberty and justice for all
[end chorus]
i never would’ve dreamed i would live the day to see someone say, this country is not the greatest. and for them to hate us….more then these muslims do. also, who would love to see this nation stumble, and watch the great american spirit crumble
now, we have american soldiers dead. yet, we still hold high our heads. even though, we all know their blood was spilt on foreign soil, over some rich man’s oil. but, we’re told we are fighting the turmoil to freedom. and these communist countrys…..we’re supposed to lead’em to this glorious freedom. sacrificing our own son’s and brothers. so, they are still coming home bleedin’. just so these politicians can keep procedin’ on this agenda to get more money in their pocket. all the while, a military wife has her dead husband’s picture in a locket
try to envision that in your mind and lock-it. she believed he died for a good cause. when he gets shipped back home in a box, what good is an applause if he’s dead?
being left to die at ages as young as 18 given an m16 to fight for their lives. still, most of them died. as they get pounded by machine gun fire all they can think about is their wife’s and children
memorials don’t do it justice. the dead are left and what’s said is said. now, don’t get me wrong…to fight, is necessary at a point. but, only when your being held at gunpoint. our brothers are dying because the leaders of this country started a fight. politicians don’t know what they sacrificed. they could rest all night and not lose a single minute of sleep. they picked the fight but, i don’t see them out there in the fight. imagine them actually fighting the wars they pick. we would be at peace a lot more often. yea, that would be a sight
it’s no longer the red, white, and blue. it’s red, red, and red for all the blood that’s been spilled. vietnam is a good example, look how many american kids were k!lled. most were left to die in a foreign field. very little support. nowhere was familiar for them there. back home, no government official cared
so, c’mon say with me…..
