the police rush in and check dude 2 for a pulse, then the boy for a pulse

just as we were about to arrest him, he just shot him!!

the boy loses consciousness as he flashes back to the night that the guy, “jay” got shot outside the club

he wonders as he lay there bleeding, did that really happen? did this really happen? did the hole in his coat really mean that he got shot and everything that happened since then was an alternate reality?

dude 1 is pacing the room of the boy, waiting for him to open his eyes. two police men guard the outside of the door

the boy opens his eyes and looks around the room, feeling as if he has just awaken from a nightmare
as he tries to get up, he realizes this is no nightmare and this is indeed his reality. he finds himself cuffed to the bed with tubes hooked up to machines coming out of his body with the sound of beeps echoing through the room
