see. sometimes as artist we just have ideas. that’s it, and it could spark from wherever. this song is one of those times. i just had the title in my head. just ‘liqu-her’ with that spelling and all. all i knew is that, it needed to be a song. told trackoholics to send me a pack and this beat was in there. as soon as i heard the beat i knew the pieces would fit perfect

the whole verse is me going though the motions. seeing her, hoping she see’s me, hoping to get a reaction, and in the end just longing for her while admiring from a far

now the second verse? totally different. i didn’t wanna drag the story out, especially since the interlude that came before it was a story as well.. but we’ll touch on that in a little. what i ended up doing is, i took a real life convos and put it in word form. you know how people try -n-lyze everything by behaviors. so what i did was break down the type of women that drink certain drinks

i also seg-wayed liqu-her from phorreall on purpose, the vibes and content matched up. theres a story in the verse of phorreal and first verse of liqu-her, so it just made sense. i’m all about cohesion when it comes to alb-ms, the easier the transitions, the easier the listen. this song, of course, is consistent with the ‘happy hour’ theme
