in reality, martin and the princes that worked with him didn’t do this for the better of others, only for themselves, martin wanting to be the best and the princes knowing the benefits they would get from the church dying. after the diet of worms, the church excommunicated martin but the damage was done, people started to make more religions, even made one called lutheranism to stretch the 95 theses influence out in europe and caused the church to begin collapsing since it was losing its power over the people}
