releasing on february 8th, 2000, wu-tang member “ghostface k!llah” released his second studio alb-m, “supreme clientele”. ghostface still takes pride of the work he did back in ’00, seeing as he mentions this alb-m in his ethering of the now deceased rapper “action bronson”. here is my review to this, imo, cl-ssic alb-m
track 1: intro
the alb-m’s first song starts off with a retro sample of what seems to be from retro cartoons. ghostface’s debut alb-m was named “iron man”, thus connecting these two things

track 2: nutmeg featuring rza
the song starts out with a soulful, piano-filled sample which really have a place in my heart. ghost starts off with the lines:
” scientific, my hand kissed it
robotic let’s think optimistic ”
the delivery on these first few lines really took me back when i first listened to it. ghost spits with confidence, which is what every rapper should be doing, while also having an insane flow. the production is simple loop of a sample, which is easy shit for ghost to k!ll so it’s no surprise he bodied this shit. rza comes onto the track spitting that dope shit:
“incognito, fatal aikido blow, pop a needle
d-ck a knock-knee ho, bust out her fetal
nine inch long strong, bobby pop the b-tch thongs ”
lmao rza a funny -ss n-gg-. he matched ghostface’s ability on this and didn’t fall behind his shadow. great job by him
production=8.5/10 rapper’s performance=9.5/10 enjoyment level = 9/10
track 3: one
the song starts of with a sample of a girl saying “one” repeatedly throughout the song, along with a simple drum loop and piano. ghostface’s wordplay is insane with lines like :
” on the dancefloor, makeover’s free followed by gauze
duncan hines monument cakes, we never half-baked
alaskan, sexcapade, push your new court dates
trauma, hands is like candy canes, lay my b-lls on ice ”
and
” sunsplash, autograph blessing with your name slashed
backdraft, four-pounders screaming with the pearly ash
children fix the contrast as the sound clashes
mrs. dash, sprinkle with her icicle eyelash
ask cappa pendergr-ss for backstage p-sses ”
his mean flow only enhances this song’s enjoyability, great song

track 4: saturday nite
the production on this from beginning to end is fantastic. rza and co’s production has been great throughout the tape
for a short track, ghost spits that mean gun talk:
” you dealing with a lot of science, motherf-cker we’re watching you
make me wanna lick shots at you
you disgust me, screwing me down, grab my gun
go head bust me ”
short and sweet!
