the plan was to – switch from the gospel
and give the world what they wanted
but little did i know that
god wanted me giving them what they needed

in the year 2 oh eleven
the girl i dated broke my heart
and it made me think so hard
that maybe all i needed was a brand new start
few days later on the 1st of july
i started a brand new life
a life with christ
a life that gave me sight – i had a new view on life

and since then i’ve been making music
always giving agtg
on a mission to shine the light of jesus
in every city
