the driver sped off fast, said, “see y’all tomorrow”
like i said, i fell down hard on my back
one of them helped me up, said they got my back
and that we’re going to get somebody whacked
they gave me a pistol said you go first
said “we’re going to get somebody murked
“this isn’t what i signed up for”, tears bursting
he said, “hey bruh, it’ll be fun
after this, take your popularity and run,”
i thought about it
“no time to think about it, get ready”
i look to my left
and i see the opposition
guns loaded, cars pulled up in position
my heart dropped so d+mn low and i froze
i’m about to die and my mom doesn’t know
one of the guys behind me told me to go
used me as a human shield, uh oh
i try to run but this guy has a grip
the streets lighting up, everybody let it rip
chaos is going around and a bullet hits my neck, (gunshot)
many die in the streets and i think i’m next
i get loose but there’s nowhere to go
the $100 guy told me, “shoot that ho”
the guy behind me pushed me forward
“go! run up to ‘em” he ordered
i realized it was too late for me, i was cornered
distance between me and the opps got closer
as i look upon the bullet approaching my skull in horror

he was a good and smart kid
so how did this happen?
how come nothing happened to his brother, who was friends with everyone and their enemies, deep in the streets, and never got shot at once in his life?
it’s always the people that shouldn’t go
that have to go
and i hate it
and because this happened, his brother is now getting a life sentence after getting vengeance and k!lling the one who murdered him
and the mom is suffering
i don’t even know if she’ll live much longer
because she doesn’t want to
but she has one more son left
her last hope
he’s a good kid also
god, hopefully nothing happens to him
do you regret your mistakes?
do you wish you could turn back time?
aw, i wish i could help you out but
there’s no dragon b+lls in the real world
