what if i said jesus never had a rivalry with the fall of humanity?
what if i said his toughest opponent was a group known as the pharisees?
what if i said his greatest concern for the church is to remove this way of living from christianity?
and if you don’t believe me why did jesus question their motives when they accused his people israel for heresy

pharisees might teach on issues of morality but their lifestyle is full of hypocrisy
measure their righteousness based on how they perform yet fail to serve the poor
while shoving theology down our throats they use it like a long list of ch0r-s while condemning single moms in church for ever having a divorce
and they orchestrate these conditions of holiness without realizing there under a bondage of religion, living by the same cycle of traditions, and forgetting the gospel’s mission
failing to examine themselves for their own religious habits, it’s like owning a cabin with every log built correctly, but walk inside and all you see is havoc
so my plea to a future minister who’s only ambition is to get behind a pulpit and preach, go reread the account of jesus and you’ll see the majority of his ministry was actually found in the streets

the problem with pharisees is that they never reach the heart, build their foundation upon sand eventually watching everything fall apart
so quick to judge the outside of someone’s cup, without offering any of god’s love, unable to recognize the truth behind the power of his blood
take pride in how others view them in a church building, then go home and transform into another chameleon
look to impress others with how they dress hoping to win every church beauty contest, yet ignore the outcry of the fatherless
raise posters saying h0m-s-xuals are sodomites
but what make’s you so special to put sinners below your level, as jesus put it in john 8:44 that would make you sons of the devil
if any of this is you stop putting on a fake look. because there’s a problem if people see you as self-righteous bigots on your facebook

i was once this way too but n0body was checking up on me. promoting god’s standards while being addicted to p-rnography
you see on sundays i would go to church basking in his presence but come mondays go right back into my recession of depression
and i built this false reality of freedom, fooling everybody that i really wasn’t a heathen, but when i came face to face with jesus i now boast in my weakness

you see pharisees always strive to be noticed wearing this false image of an immortal hulk hogan, never giving forgiveness the authority to heal those who are broken
if the church is a place for grace to be an ocean, then we need leaders who won’t spew out racial slogans cause it’s not a place for ent-tlement but for those who are hopeless
so i’m not going to give in to these two-faced christians, i’m not going to hide my failures or hide my past, because i already found my path when i signed off on god’s eternal contract

this is why jesus called them a bunch of fools for treating his laws like a checklist of rules
he was labeled a gluttonous and a drunkard from these religious men, that’s why jesus opposed their views cause all they did was condemn
now let me be clear i love the bible, i love the church, i love my leadership, and yes i hate sin, but if jesus came to your church would he see you behaving like these men

let’s get back to my original point, one thing which is essential to mention, how jesus and pharisees have different perspectives
god wants to break all of our chains, pharisees keep us living in vain, god offered a lamb to be slain, while pharisees ignore the weight of our shame
because pharisees say rules, jesus says mercy, pharisees say captivity, jesus sets you free
and this is why jesus and pharisees have their own plan of redemption, pharisees label man as an infection if they never achieve a certificate of perfection, while god gives us free will to receive the breath of his presence

so n0body can label me a mistake, if i don’t have the right christian resume
my choices were never under man’s control, i only focus on keeping him first on my throne, and i’m not going to worry about earning a religious vote
just remember when he was dangling on that cross being accused by self-righteous pharisees and jews, his mind was only on one thing and it was you
so you don’t have to wear a different sunday costume because the god of this universe already swept away your sin with his broom and we now have the freedom to be made new

so for pharisees i don’t just hate their lifestyle i literally resent them
because when he said i’ve come to bring all sinners unto repentance through the new birth message, this statement means i’m not under a death sentence, but i have an opportunity to meet my savior one day in heaven
