the boy is still laying on his back looking up at the ceiling. he sees the recluse spider from earlier on in the story. he hated that spider, but in this moment, that spider was the only one he had left

before closing his eyes the boy pulls out his phone and laughs

he types out the tweet “roscoes wetsuit,” hits the “tweet” b-tton, and is gone
the camera then zooms in on phone and we see the “error sending tweet, saved to drafts” message on his phone…
