we have his performance against mike p
url’s + a perfect day to die + pg card
december 12, 2015 (brooklyn, new york)

if you haven’t noticed the pattern thus far, i place a lot of value in a battler’s coming out party. one may argue that ave first put the culture on notice against nunn nunn, but i beg to differ. in ave’s performance against mike p, he displayed how dangerous he could be. ave was dominant in all facets and on a sizable stage. this battle crеated a distinct hierarchy in who was the “big dawg” of thе class. ave’s back to back punching, presence, and fluidity in his rapping enabled his style to flourish that night. his opening round was a 1st round knockout, with a good 2nd and 3rd to clearly seal the battle

we have his performance against glueazy
url’s banned legacy card
february 22, 2019 (richmond, virginia)

coming off a great performance against jc, ave would ignite his 2019 run with his banned legacy debut in his home state. with maximized energy, potent punches, and a hint of performance, ave was lights out in this battle. ave’s 1st round against glueazy was probably his best round of the year. the energy was through the roof and was one of the most exciting “banned” battles of the entire series. and while his 2nd and 3rd wasn’t as great as his 1st, he still had moments and consistent material to gain a clear win over a glueazy that had his best performance of that year

we have his performance against danny myers
url’s + any given sunday 2 card
march 27th, 2022 (atlanta, georgia)

believe it or not, ave’s recent big stage performance against danny was a career defining moment in his career. after taking a general consensus clear loss to b dot, a lot of people forgot how dangerous ave could be (especially on a big stage). going against a white+hot danny myers, ave delivered one of his best big stage performances up to date and showcased his all+round talent. while this was only a 2+1 victory, it is a clear win. ave still showed a bit of separation in angling, pacing, presence, and crowd control. his 1st was filled with haymakers from beginning to end and his 3rd was just as potent with the punches and a hard+hitting angle to match. the win was impressive because danny delivered a performance that would have beaten anyone else on the card. ave was just that much better. not only did ave give danny his best big stage battles of his career, but he also captured one of his biggest wins of the career and silenced the critics

we have his performance against arsonal
url’s nome 9 card
june 8, 2019 (houston, texas)
capitalizing off the momentum he gained from his earlier battles in 2019, ave would take on the new jersey legend on nome 9 (the best nome of all time). at this point, arsonal was the biggest plate that ave received thus far and he not only made a statement, but he also alarmed the other high+profile battlers to steer clear. ave delivered a crazy 1st round featuring his “swag and surf” bar that added to the nome 9 highlight reel. his 2nd and 3rd were the nails in the coffin and gave him one of the bodies of the night. this performance was also noteworthy because he was able to dismiss the myth that he couldn’t perform on a major stage. if anything, this performance showed that he can be dangerous in any setting

honorable mention:
math hoffa performance (punching on the “gloat”) (2018)
b magic performance (body was never discovered) (2017)
real sikh performance (ave survived covid) (2021)
geechi gotti performance (west coast classic) (2017)
rum nitty performance (the legacy was born) (2016)

we have his performance against chess
url’s nome 6 card
november 20, 2016 (new york city)

this is a no+brainer. this battle is the reason why ave was one of the most feared prospects to come into the game. in the first ever surprise nome battle, ave delivered one of the best rounds in nome history, a top 3 nome performance of all time, and the best nome debut ever. ave faced a chess that was locked in with 3 loaded rounds with great energy, quotables, and performance to capture the audience. and while chess did set the tone, ave reinforced the tone by packing a heavy punch every line. this was another instance where ave outlasted a very good performance with an even better performance that captured his first big win on a big stage. his 1st round is practically hall of fame worthy and his 3rd was extremely potent and garnered a lot of respect from a chess who is usually not too enthused with his opponent’s material. on top of all of this, ave had performance of the night on a card that featured chess, ill will, charlie clips, tsu surf, tay roc, brizz rawsteen, rum nitty, t top, and arsonal. you cannot talk about ave without talking about this performance. this battle solidified his status as one of the best punchers early on and made him a bona fide star
