let me tell you guys what i think about this whole beef
honestly, i find it unnecessary. all this nonsense is unnecessary. we have both artists coming at each other. one claiming the other has a ghostwriter, the other one speaking out and defending himself. now let me tell you about the music industry. the fans and the media are what make these artists even relevant. meek mill is an artist from philly, who represents his state the same way drake represents his city toronto, also known as “the 6”. drake made the term “the 6” very very popular when he recorded his song “know yourself”. although we have no idea if he even wrote the bars on the song himself or the flow even belongs to him because we all heard the reference track recorded by quentin miller. meek mill came out on his respond diss track “wanna know” (which was not as strong as we hoped it would be) and had a sampled version of the reference track on the diss track itself. what do you call this? complete nonsense. we didn’t need the reference track taking up 20-30 seconds of bars he could’ve been spitting. but anyways, we let it slide, we don’t care. the first drake diss track titled “charged up” was average af. now, if meek would’ve responded then with “wanna know”, it would be a tie. but he waited a whole week to get back and drake just said “ayo, f-ck it. lay another one on him”. meek, you’re damaging your own career bro. 🙁
the blogs and fans (even famous restaurants and fast foods)were all over twitter giving meek mill an l and giving drake 2 points and leaving meek mill with 1 although he been exposing drake for the past week. why is this? let me tell you why. drake’s a smart man. i’m telling you, he’s smart. the reason why he didn’t respond to meek on twitter is because, he doesn’t need to. nah nah, forget it, he didn’t even need to respond to meek mill with those disses (charged up & back 2 back). he didn’t need to at all. the fans already gave him the w once meek made those accusations against drake. drake’s fanbase is incredibly huge, and it extends to different parts of the world, even people on islands where there is no wifi or anything have heard of drake. he has a huge, gigantic, enormous fanbase that would do anything to give him the w. shit, people would k!ll themselves if drake ever got an l. he’s been taking girls from half the celebrities in the rap game and makes the catches and most dopest music in the industry. he himself can be considered as an industry plant because if he dies, the rap game loses popularity then you’ll see fans moving to different genres like jazz, pop or even rock. drake creates the most catchiest hooks in the industry. you got a drake feature on your alb-m? huh, gold. you got a drake feature on your first single? huh, certified platinum. i’m telling you, drake is a legend
now, meek’s over here accusing drake of having a ghostwriter named quentin miller. meek, choose wisely who you call out in the game. if you are below the top 1 spot in the game, never ever speak rubbish or garbage about the number 1 artists in the hip hop world, ever. because he himself can end you. the only artist who can actually have a chance at beating drake in a battle would be eminem. eminem fans are crazy i tell you, so kick him out the picture. understand this meek, you are not going to win going at cats like drake, eminem or kendrick lamar. their fans and support is so huge you wouldn’t last a day i tell you. honest question meek, you think these females in the club care if drake has a ghostwriter? they read the tweets and went “kermit the frog, let me sip some tea, we don’t care it’s none of our business. we love us some drake.” all this nonsense is hurting no one but meek’s career. some artists need to check their ego and understand they are not on the same level as other artists. when drake dies, he’ll be a legend. his name will be all over the history books while meek, he’ll just be another rapper. you are going to lose going at artists like drake, just like nicki would’ve gotten an l going at katy perry or even taylor swift
