(so i so wasn’t planning on doing this, it’s basically my post election facebook status and some guitars that sound a bit like i hate scotland by ballboy. i recorded a sweet cover as a 5th song, and after a day of overdubbing and tweaking i took it home to mix and realised the underlying guitar part was out of tune. i mean, not horribly, but enough to make me cringe and delete the whole project. i’m always super wary of political songs cos i know i can’t write about that stuff as well as i can write about girls and buildings and junk, but i’ve seen so many douchey bands justify their apolitical stance in the last few weeks that i can justify doing this the once.)
